Trusting What Comes In

People have asked me how I’m able to channel, to see others’ past lives, and to connect with angels and guides. From my perspective, five elements came together for it to happen: writing, stillness, listening, trust and teachers.
If you’ve been here for a while, you know that Trust with a Capital T is a big part of this work. I write and talk about it a lot.

It all boils down to Trusting What Comes In.
There are 2 ways I want to talk this today — in life and in readings.
In life, it’s trusting there’s a reason something crappy has happened in your life. Trusting a new potential that feels positive and expansive. Trusting a desire that keeps gnawing at you. Trusting a nudge that lingers in your mind. Trusting a connection with someone that seems important. Trusting a red flag. Trusting a green light. Trusting synchronicity.
To quote Rainer Maria Rilke: "Let Life happen to you. Life is in the right, always.”
For readings, past life insights and connections with guides, angels and those who’ve passed over, Trust is paramount. In short, I trust what I receive and I receive it because I trust it.
The information that comes in during readings comes in whispers, nonverbal energy, and fleeting images. The moment I doubt or challenge the process, the information disappears. When I trust it, the information flows.
I remember the first reading I gave someone. They asked a question and at first I couldn’t see anything; it’s like the screen was dark. Then suddenly an image came in, then another, then another and another. I realized I was receiving metaphorical images in response to their question and started telling them what I was seeing. Even more so, I trusted what I was seeing.
Trust has continued to play a major role in the development of Your Mythic Self. I trusted the (unnamed) male guide who came in the summer of 2022. I trusted when the Grandmothers connected in the summer of 2023. And I trust the monthly channelings and the programmatic guidance.
All of this happens because I trust that it happens.
