The Time of the Leo Sun

The Sun is now in Leo.

Hot summer days, nights that seem to be alive,

Thunderstorms, lightning, waiting for a breeze, coolness in shade,

Cicadas, crickets, butterflies, finches, hummingbirds,

Flowers that have pushed through the heat, full trees, tired grass,

Hot sidewalks, crunchy mulch, slippery pine straw,

Stepping outside in the evening and feeling enveloped by luscious warm air.

Drink it all in, every last bit of it.

This is a gift, for us.
