Writing
People have asked me how I’m able to channel, to see others’ past lives, and to connect with angels and guides. From my perspective, five elements came together for it to happen: writing, stillness, listening, trust, and teachers. This piece is about writing.
I write almost every day; sometimes several times a day. Some may call this journaling. For me, journaling denotes processing deep emotions. Yes, that happens, but it’s so much more. Writing is the main way I connect with my Self and with Spirit, and is my go-to tool for truth telling.
Writing is how I get behind my thoughts, to see what is there before thought kicks in.
I write about cards pulled from an oracle deck or the week’s I-Ching.
I write about a license plate that catches my eye.
I write about a conversation with someone.
I write about memories and people who’ve passed on.
I write about the sky and birds and trees, about beauty and magic.
I write about smart quotes from brilliant people.
I write about my art.
I write about this work with Your Mythic Self.
I write in conversation with a guide.
I write to better understand what I’ve received in meditation.
Writing can only happen in the present.
As The Grandmothers say “Inner guidance always happens in the now. Always. Best to be there to receive it.”
