Seeing with Soft Eyes

It’s easy to be hard in this world; it’s way more difficult to be soft.  You’ve got to be strong to be soft.

Softness is a primary element of this path. In fact, when we’re one on this path, we HAVE to let go of much of our hardness. Either willingly or unwillingly.

It’s not about being a pushover; you’ll come to fiercely protect your own softness.

It’s about seeing the Divine within all that surrounds you.

To see a person who’s struggling with compassion, rather than judgement,

To head down an unknown road with curiosity, rather than fear,

To see exquisite beauty in an every day, easily overlooked object,

To hear symphonies within quietness,

And to forgive yourself for your humanness.

Let your eyes (and heart) linger for just a moment longer—there’s a whole world in that moment.
