Let the Plan of Love and Light Work Out

The Great Invocation was given to humanity through a woman named Alice Bailey.  She received the invocation from the spiritual hierarchy over a period of 9 years, from 1937 to 1945.  It was extended out into the world beginning in April 1945 as WWII was closing out and the world was shattered.   

The Coming One is a reference to the higher Christos/Divine Consciousness that more and more are coming to embody, the wave of love. The Great Shift.

Bailey’s body of work and other teachings are held by The Lucis Trust.

THE GREAT INVOCATION*

From the point of Light within the mind of God

Let light stream forth into human minds.

Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God

Let love stream forth into human hearts
.
May the Coming One return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known

Let purpose guide all little wills of humans -

The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the human race

Let the Plan of Love and Light work out

And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

*The Great Invocation was originally written as applicable to men/mankind, the norm at the time. For example, the original second line read “Let light stream forth into the minds of men.” This is an adapted version The Lucis Trust published in 2000 that better reflects today’s norms.
